If a small part of your tooth has been chipped off and no pain has been felt nor bleeding observed, you will need to call your dentist for an appointment. This is not exactly an emergency, however,   there is a need to smoothen it or restore it to avoid creating more damage as rough part of a tooth may accidentally crack during eating.

Having cracked or fractured teeth may be a serious dental emergency. You need to:

a. Rinse mouth with warm water

b. If there is pain you may take painkiller medicines  (but have to make sure that you do not have allergies to these types of drugs)

c. If there is a swelling a cold compress on the area may relieve discomfort

d. Never put any medicine or drug directly on the involved tooth or the surrounding gums to avoid infection or further complication

e. Call your dentist immediately for an appointment(Always Seek Professional Help)
