If you complain of sensitive teeth, chances are you have not been taking really good care of your teeth. Teeth are usually sensitive if the outer covering of your teeth the enamel is thin or more porous than normal.  Tooth sensitivity, which may be triggered by cold, hot or sweets , is one of the most common complaints of patients. This is uncomfortable and the best remedy is to check with your dentist so he/she can give you ways to solve your problem.  At home you may use ultra soft bristle toothbrush and toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Avoid acidic juices and sweet candies and gums; instead try using sugar free candies and gums.  Avoid biting ice and even hard food.
